The exhibition PROTEST brings together 24 media artworks by 20 artists from 17 countries, exploring the imagery, symbolism, and impact of demonstrations and political actions in public space. The artists transform protests and their imagery into powerful video installations and short documentaries that challenge and expand their portrayal beyond the news.

From 13 September, visitors will step into immersive spaces resonating with thousands of voices, music, sirens, and chants in many languages—conveying urgency, despair, anger, and solidarity. Addressing urgent global issues such as racial and gender equality, war, freedom, democracy, corruption, and climate emergency PROTEST offers a powerful, multi-voiced reflection on today’s struggles and the role of media art in understanding our changing world.
