Anne Duk Hee Jordan’s new work explores the question of who and what the Pader is. Developed collaboratively with local researchers, experts, and a school class, the multi-element artwork uses sound recordings, microscopic imagery, chemical analyses, and public installations to reveal the hidden life and ecological state of the river. A legal contract invites ongoing recognition and care for the Pader’s ecology.

The work will be on view from today as part of “Der Fluss bin ich (I am the river)” at the Stadtmuseum Paderborn.

The exhibition is curated by Marijke Lukowicz and Sophia Trollmann.
